After Bartholomew left his house, he went out to search for the woman. He called a carriage to take him back to the alleyway. He waved his hand that held his cane in the air. A velvet carriage with golden rimmed doors appeared. "Can you take me to Nottingham Plaza." Bartholomew asked the driver. "Yes, I can." The driver said. Bartholomew entered the carriage carefully. The carriage's seats were navy blue. When he took a seat, the carriage started to move. Bartholomew didn't look out of the window in fear that he would see the cloaked figure. When he reached Nottingham, he looked around trying to find the alleyway. He looked to where he last remembered seeing it. He saw the alleyway but now it was blocked by boards that seemed to have been there for years. "I was just there yesterday. How can it be blocked up." Bartholomew thought. He walked toward the alleyway, then he searched the boards for a handle as if it were a door. Bartholomew pushed on the boards with his hands, which made them fall to the ground roughly. He started his way down the alleyway. As the light started to darken, he saw blood on the stones below him. He walked faster. He then found the lifeless body of a woman who had rope marks on her wrists and ankles. She was bleeding from her waist where it seemed like she was cut by a blade. Bartholomew ran out of the alleyway and yelled out to anyone that could hear him. He then rushed back into the alley and knelt next to the woman. Bartholomew started to cry above the woman's beautiful face.
